Dr. Donald Long
Medical Director
Inotek Safety welcomes Dr. Donald Long, M.D. as the Medical Director of Occupational Medical Services Division. Dr. Long brings over 35 years of experience as a physician devoted to the proactive care and treatment of his patients. He achieved a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Lamar University in 1968. While serving as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy, he achieved a Doctorate in Medicine in 1972, followed by residency in Evansville, Indiana. Throughout his distinguished career, he has established a large private obstetrical service, held titles such as Medical Director for GoldStar EMS, Medical Director of Bridge City Fire and Rescue and been an Emergency Room physician. Dr. Long is intensely dedicated to serving his patients while demonstrating only the highest ethical and moral standards. Inotek looks forward to Dr. Long providing an active and critical role by providing hands-on mentorship and delivering clear medical direction to the company and employees. Dr. Long understands the importance of managing illnesses and injuries and the ultimate impact on the company and individual. Dr. Long brings knowledge and determination to Inotek to create a medical culture of well-being and will continue to enhance the vision for the future.
Don Brooks
Operations Manager
Mr. Brooks embarked on a career in medical services in 1976 when working as an Emergency Technician (EMT). While at Loyola Hospital in Maywood, Illinois he successfully completed the clinical and didactic requirements to become a paramedic. He holds certification as a nationally Registered Paramedic with licenses in multiple states. Specialty certifications include Critical Care Paramedic, Flight Paramedic and Remote Medical Specialist. With over 30 years experience in emergency medical services, he has worked with the Chicago Fire Department and private sector industries that include industrial, transportation and remote environment settings. Experienced in the offshore oil and gas industry, Mr. Brooks has developed a keen understanding of the unique needs of that environment. Dedicated to continuing education and training, Mr. Brooks has achieved Incident Command, Hospital Incident Command, Flight Training, Behavioral Based Safety and H2S certification. He has successfully managed all facets of occupational and medical services operations. Dedicated to providing unsurpassed customer service and team leadership, Mr. Brooks is passionate about servicing the customer, promoting teamwork and providing action based solutions.
